		<description>Thank you for your interesting comment. This made me realize that spiritual development is indeed a big subject. I hope to see this further develop into a mature science so that we can move beyond theories and come up with evidence-based explanation (based on psychology and biology) of human spiritual development. If this happens, this is a better alternative to religion classes in high school and college.</description>

		<description>It is hard to tell what year you wrote this post, but I thought you might be interested to know that there are significant correlations between Peck&#039;s stages and the work of many other theorists in spiritual development through the ages, going back as far as Saint Teresa of Avila.  They all use different terminology and have different numbers of stages.   Most don&#039;t even use the word &quot;stage&quot;  but on close inspection, the correlations can be seen.
